Mischievous Dogs Eat Mail Carrier’s Lunch, 1 Week Later She Receives A Letter From The Pups
When Carol Jordan adopted Bear and Bull she didn’t expect to have such a naughty pair on her hands. The partners in crime love wreaking havoc. Their hobbies include dragging down drain pipes, chewing up doorjambs, and destroying lawnmowers (three lawnmowers to be exact).
The rescue dogs also love digging holes in their garden in Smithfield, Virginia. In fact, there probably isn’t a bit of soil that hasn’t been dug by the rescue dogs. Regardless of their antics, Carol always forgives their cute little faces.
They just can’t help themselves. We never catch them in the act, we just see the destruction afterward.
While Carol doesn’t mind when they destroy her own stuff, they cross the line if they ruin somebody else’s possessions. So when a postal worker became the latest victim of their mischief, she wanted to make up for their actions.
The unsuspecting postal worker arrived at Carol’s house to drop off some mail, leaving the door to the truck open. Seeing their opportunity, Bull and Bear hopped into the truck and had a sniff around to see what they could find. When the worker returned to her truck, she discovered the troublesome duo scoffing down her lunch.
The worker scribbled down a note to Carol regarding the food theft, but it wasn’t the type of note that you would expect. Instead of being angry about the situation, she instead warned Carol what the dogs had eaten in case they suffered from any intolerances. She then left the note on the door and went on her way.
Hey! I drove up to deliver a package and both of the dogs crawled in my truck. They got into my lunch and ate an egg and some carrots and pumpkin seeds. I don’t know if that will upset their tummies, just FYI!
When Carol found the note she was touched that the mail worker had made such a considerate gesture, despite her dogs having ruined her lunch. Mortified by what the mischievous dogs had done, she and the guilty duo took a peace offering to the post office the next week. They left her a gift card for lunch and a note of apology from Bear and Bull themselves.
Sorry we ate your lunch. Thank you for sharing! P.S. Our humans said, ‘Thank you’ for leaving a note. We didn’t like the note. We got in trouble.
As it turns out, this isn’t the first time that Bull and Bear have terrorized a postal worker. One time a FedEx driver left his door open and the cheeky duo climbed into his front seats, refusing to move. Either Bull and Bear have dreams of becoming postal workers themselves, or they want to send a message to them all that they aren’t welcome on their lawn. Either way, the pair’s antics are hilarious.
They don’t really regret anything they do! They will look guilty for a while, but then it is all fun and games with them again.
Postal workers of Smithfield, Virginia, better beware of the Bull and the Bear. Close your truck doors and hide your lunch, because nothing is safe with this pair around!
