The constant presence of flies is anyone’s problem. You just wave your hands and look ridiculous just to make them go away. But, you’ve probably thought that you need something that will help you get rid of these pesky parasites. Here, we’re going to suggest you several useful methods that will help you achieve that!
HOW TO GET RID OF FLIES QUICKLY (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE)The average life span of flies is about one month. During that time, they multiply like crazy. You get a never-ending population that you wage war against.
Speed and flying are only some of the physical attributes that give some varieties of flies a distinct advantage over others.
You have to know their natural weaknesses in order to destroy them. Flies are naturally attracted to light and smell. They can also be repelled by strong scents of some herbs and essential oils.
Here are four methods that will help you get rid of flies quickly inside and outside.
Build your own fly trap! Put the trap indoors or outdoors to trap the pesky flies and get rid of them!
If you add a little bit of dish soap to the ACV, it will make the trap deadlier. The surface tension of the liquid will be broken by the dish soap and it will make the flies sink on contact and eliminate any chance of survival.
Things you’ll need:
Apple cider vinegar (smell of ACV attracts flies) – 2 cups
Liquid dish soap (flies sink and drown in dish soap) – 1 tablespoon
STEP 2. SECURE THE MOUTH OF THE JAR WITH PLASTIC WRAP
STEP 3. POKE SEVERAL HOLES INTO THE PLASTIC WRAP
Use a toothpick to make multiple punctures in the plastic wrap and you’ll let the flies into the trap. The smell of ACV will guide them into the trap.
Place the trap wherever you want to. When you notice the flies are dead inside, get rid of them and clean the jar.
1 WEEK UPDATE
I set my trap out a week ago and I’m already seeing great results! There are about half a dozen flies floating around in my trap and there’s definitely a decrease in the number of flies hanging around my plants.
A fruit trap will have a similar effect like the ACV trap. Use overripe or rotten fruit.
This trap doesn’t kill the flies, but it will capture them effectively. You can then decide how to dispose of them. This trap is much cheaper than the previous one. Just put the already rotting fruit in the bowl!
Things you’ll need:
Fruit, overripe or rotten (flies are attracted to rotten food)
