Randall Was A Career Trucker Who Loved His Job. But In March The Year Randall Was Hauling An Especially Dangerous Cargo, Ammonium Nitrate , A Highly Explosive Chemical Which Is Used In Fertiliser. While Driving Along The Highway In South Arkansas He Noticed That His Brakes Were On Fire, And Immediately Understood The Danger. Thinking Quickly And Selflessly, His First Heroic Action Was To Get The Truck To A Remote Area, Well Aware Of The Scale Of The Potential Explosion And The Damage It Could Cause. Then, After Calling 911 He Set To Work Getting Anyone In The Vicinity As Far Away As Possible. In The Time It Took For The Emergency Services To Arrive, Randall Tried Desperately To Put Out The Fire Himself, Keenly Aware Of The Disaster That Was Looming.
When The Emergency Services Arrived They Reported Seeing Randall Return To His Truck, At Which Point There Was A Massive Explosion And Randall Tragically Lost His Life. He Was Married With A Son. The Explosion Was Huge, Causing A Terrifying Mushroom Cloud Over Highway 278 And Leaving 15 Foot Crater And Leveling Forest Nearby. People 35 Miles Away In El Dorado Reported Feeling The Blast. That Is One Mighty Explosion. All Of The Fire And Rescue Team Were Accounted For, And Randall Mcdougal Was The Only One Who Lost His Life That Day.
One Twitter Use Wrote That They Cried Reading The Report, Stating That Randall Is A True Hero. Most People Would Have Run In That Situation, But He Placed Himself In Danger To Warn People And Get Them To Safety, Even Trying To Put Out The Fire And Avert The Disaster Himself. While Working For The Blann Trucking Company, Randall Mcdougal Paid The Ultimate Price For His Good And Decent Heart. Lift Up A Prayer For The Family As They Try To Deal With Their Tragedy, And Those Of Us Who Do Have A Faith Can Have Confidence In Where Randall Mcdougal Is Right Now.
