Nervous Girl Wows The Crowd With Barbra Streisand Classic Going Wide Eyed When Judge Slams Golden Buzzer

One can only imagine if this is what Eleana Gabunad, a 10-year-old singer from the Philippines, felt when she appeared on the popular ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ television show. One judge on the show, record producer David Foster, was floored by the amazing vocals provided by Eleana.

Eleana walked onto the stage wearing a bright yellow dress and a huge smile on her face. After she introduced herself Anggul, another of the show’s judges, inquired of Eleana what she wanted to be once she was an adult.

Eleana’s answer was a Broadway singer and performer. Elena chose ‘Rain On My Parade’ by Barbara Streisand to sing at her audition. She did not get far into the song before both judges and audience members were completely amazed. The shy young lady turned out to be an incredibly talented singer.

Eleana thoroughly enjoyed her time on stage and the young girl certainly looked the part. The song, though difficult for some singers to sing, was the perfect choice for Elena to showcase her vocal ability.

David Foster bobbed his head as the young girl continued to sing. Elena danced as she sang and the crowd was having a great time. And when Elena ended the song with another powerful note, the roar from the crowd could wake the dead.

David leaped to his feet and joined the crowd in the standing ovation they gave young Eleana.

Next, it was time for the three judges to decide Eleana’s fate. Anggul was quick with a yes. The third judge on the show, Joy Park also voted yes and made a comment about David joining the standing ovation.

David was the last of the three judges to vote. The room grew quiet and David studied the face of young Eleana. David shocked everyone in attendance by hitting the Golden Buzzer.

The floor was quickly covered with yellow confetti and the roar from the crowd somehow grew louder. The Golden Buzzer meant Eleana would go straight to the contest semi-finals where she would be much closer to the contest grand prize of $100,000.
