Crowds’ Mouths Hang Open When Tiny Gymnast Takes Floor With Routine No One Saw Coming

Even though Uliana Travkina is a child, she has the raw gymnastic talent of an Olympic medalist and the flexibility of a contortionist. She captivates the audience during this competition and leaves everyone amazed. There’s a reason why her name rings bells from one end of the globe to the other. Now her insane routine has gained attention online – and once you see her bop and bend her body around the floor, you’ll understand why! We’re just thrilled someone decided to record this small competition performance and share it online so we could all watch it…

According to Thought.co guest writer Amy Van Deusen, a 15-year gymnastic veteran and coach, even though classes are available for 2 and 3-years-old children, it’s best to wait until your kid is a bit older. Starting a serious gymnastics program at 5 or 6 years old is much more appropriate. While your little one is waiting, Amy says you can think about less rigorous tumbling classes that teach basic skills like somersaults, backward rolls, cartwheels, and walking on a very low balance beam. These lessons will prepare your child for the intermediate courses without overwhelming their minds and bodies at such a young age! She also says that other sports such as ballet, dance, soccer, and baseball can help your child stay active and practice the same hand-eye coordination needed in gymnastics.

While we don’t know when Uliana started her gymnastics career, it’s easy to see this little one has natural talent and the elasticity of a rubber band! The way she runs about on the mat makes it seem as though she’s not tethered by the same laws of physics as the rest of us. Take a peek at her unbelievable routine for yourself in the video below.
