Animals that are abandoned in the state of Maryland are fortunate to find Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Center (BARCS). This open-admission shelter does not refuse any animal who crosses their doorstep. All animals that enter their care receive shelter, food, and a whole lot of love. One such case is the anesthesia team in the surgical unit at BARCS.
