In the world of today, many dogs live a comfortable couch life next to their beloved owners and we are grateful to them for the company.

Many dogs, especially puppies, are afraid of the noise the vacuum cleaner or the hair dryer makes. Often, this does not bring discomfort to the owners, because dogs manifest their fear by stepping aside and hiding when a vacuum cleaner approaches it. And this reaction can show as a very convenient one when cleaning, don’t you agree? It’s another matter when the dog experiences such and amount of fear that you can plainly see it is suffering. We are not talking about whining, trembling, and hiding for hours.
The cute 10-month Labrador puppy does not have those manifestations we were talking about. It surely is afraid by the weird looking noisy machine that his owner is dragging about the house, but the fear in him can rather be placed in the “fear of the unknown” category. It is simply too young to understand that in just a few months’ time, he will be dozing off peacefully ion the carpet and the owner would use the same vacuum to clean his coat and give him a bit of massage along the way. What a young, naïve pup!
But, we all must admit that his reaction is priceless! Not only that he found the perfect nook between the wall and the sofa as his hiding place, he also pretends he is not even there! The glittering eyes are carefully observing the trajectory of the scary vacuum cleaner, and when he thinks there is no escape, he shoves his nose in the corner, pretending either that the boogie gadget and the entire world just isn’t there anymore or that he himself has become invisible. What an adorably childish thig to do little pup!
