3 Surprising Tricks to get rid of Dark Neck Skin


Different cultures have different beauty standards but consistency in the tone is what preferred by everyone. What if your face looks extremely bright and your neck dark? Or your face looks tanned but your neck looks uncomfortably light? To me, that’s the weirdest drawback a person can experience in the beauty and fitness journey.

Here, I have three home-based tricks that can help you get rid of darkness around your neck and get your skin even with rest of your body. Dark neck circles can have multiple reasons ranging from natural tendencies to your hygiene routines. But the tricks I’m going to mention are for every reason and cause.

Trick with Tomatoes

What to add:

  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • Pulp of at least one tomato

What to do:

  • Take an empty pot
  • Add tomato pulp with 1 tbsp honey in the pot
  • Mix both ingredients
  • Simply apply it to the neck
  • Let it dry for 20-30 minutes
  • Wash your neck with fresh warm water

Trick with Oats

What to add:

  • 1 tbsp oats
  • Cotton ball
  • 2 tbsp raw milk

What to do:

  • Take an empty pot
  • Add 1 tbsp oats and 2 tbsp milk into it
  • Mix them until they are even
  • Pick the cotton ball and apply the mixture on your neck
  • Let it dry for at least 10-20 minutes
  • Wash your neck with fresh warm water

Trick with Cucumber

What to use:

What to do:

  • Finely peel and crush the cucumber
  • Strain the pulpy cucumber with a strainer and separate its juice
  • Add lemon juice to this cucumber juice
  • Mix them well
  • Apply the mixture over your neck with the cotton ball
  • Let it dry for some time
  • Wash your neck with warm water

Note: All of these tricks are natural and affordable. Things mentioned above can be found easily in your kitchen and you can give them a try right away.
