Last week, the Atlanta Police found a young black girl dead in the Atlanta Street. Police immediately released a sketch asking the public to help identify her. But even after so many days passed, there is no clue of who she is. However, police have updated the sketch.
It is reported that the woman was shot multiple times on the morning of September 21 in the middle of the Hortense Place. She was found hours after her death in the street by a resident. Police further reported that the girl died only a few hours ago she was found but she has not been identified yet.
Update: Atlanta police have released another sketch on Thursday. The new image is the completed facial reconstruction made by NCMEC Forensic Artist.
Police describe the dead woman as “black 16 to 22-years old with the medium to heavy build, short-straight hair, 179lbs weight and 5’00 to 5’05” height. According to police, the woman had been shot at a close range having multiple scars on her body.
The moment she was found dead in the street, she was wearing blue and white striped shirt, black nylon Adidas warm-up jacket, whit multi-colored socks, black denim jeans and pink flip-flop, reported by Atlanta police.
More of, police disclosed that the woman has multiple minor scars on her left thigh and a scar on her left ankle with the deep gunshot wound.
HER OLD SKETCH:
The police also found a red floral scarf under her body and they believe that she was wearing it at the time of her murder.
The Atlantic Police Major Adam Lee III said in a news conference on Thursday that they don’t think the woman was homeless. As her appearance was clean than finest homeless people and her weight was normal. The Major further said that they think that the woman had a good and well-cared life at her home, wherever it was.
Lee further expressed his belief the woman was quite young probably 16 or 18 because her fingerprints weren’t located in any database.
However, at this point of the muddle, police wants to deliver her body to her parents or any family she had. And they request everyone to call Atlanta Police Homicide Unit to report if they know anything about her.
