40 years old Suresh Kumar was caught cornering a teenage girl when the mob landed and hauled him to the butcher’s shop and beaten him with the stick for almost an hour.
The lynched activity took the creepiest turn when mob used the butcher’s meat cleaver to cut the penis of the rapist.
Suresh Kumar, a 40 years old local of Ganganagar, the northwestern Rajhistan State, was locally caught trying to sexually abuse a teenage girl when the girl screamed for help in the area. In no times, people marshalled over there and Kumar ended up being in the hospital after witnessing locals chopped off his genitals with the meat cleaver for his alleged rape.
The mob left the hewn pieces of Kuma’s penis in the middle of the street and left the bleeding Kumar nearby. However, he was shifted to the hospital and his condition is reported to be critical, as per Daily Mail.
The victim girl is also under medical care and counselling after experiencing such a tragic incident of her life.
Aamir Dhawan, a 30 years old witness of the incident stated to the Daily Mail that nobody approached Kumar to offer some help because people thought he had been punished right for his sex crime.
Mr. Dhawan further stated that, “India has had a lot of intolerable offences against women in this country recently, with girls being raped, hung, and molested, and it’s the time it should be stopped” and that “This sends out a very strong message to anyone like that- if you do it you will be punished”.
However, the police officials don’t approve the emotional statement by the young witness as per Daily Mail.

After discovering the tremendously violent situation in the area, the police have called openly for those who are responsible for this offensive act before they find them. The police spokesperson said that whatever happens in the state, people can’t take the law in their hands to decide punishments.
The spokesperson further added: “As deplorable as these crimes are, law and order have to be maintained and not lynch justice. We ask those men who carried out this attack to hand themselves in before we find them”.
However, the man and the victim girl both are under medical treatments fighting their own battles according to the Daily Mail.
There are states like Malaysia which have a castration-the legal punishment of rape strategy under development. However, international human right figures such as Amnesty International are strongly opposing the idea saying that castration, by no mean, is a good enough way to deal with the critical issue of rape.
Reporting from nations like India, the story of Suresh Kumar is not the first rape case and if it continues at this rate, the quality of life can be drastically shaken. Before these regular unwanted sexual assaults take this nation to another local and international conspiracy, the government needs to take appropriate action.
