Diabetes is when your glucose or blood sugar levels are higher or lower than normal. Both conditions have different symptoms. The flu, cold or other sudden illness can cause higher blood sugar levels. You should have to learn the difference between both conditions so that you can control the severity of disease when it will happen to you at home. Insulin and other diabetes medications can cause low blood sugar level.

You can avoid blood sugar problems with the instructions of your doctor on the use of insulin and diabetes medicine, diet and exercise. More ever you can check your sugar level at home by some specific device. If you feel a low blood sugar level then you can control it by eating some kind of food with high sugar or by taking medicine. But the important thing is that you should keep your sugar level at the target range.

Symptoms of High Blood Sugar

High blood sugar occurs when a patient eats too much food but has too little insulin to regulate their blood sugar. Stress is also the cause of diabetes. But you should aware the symptoms of high blood sugar that are as follows.

  6. Dizziness
  7. Irritability

Eat cooked, raw or roasted vegetables

Use vegetables in your food as you can with having low-carb like mushrooms, onions, eggplant, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and low-carb squashes, like zucchini.

Try to eat them mixing with low-fat dressings, hummus, salsa, and guacamole or cooked with different seasonings such rosemary, garlic, or cayenne pepper.


Leave your regular salad and make changes in your meal, try some greenish like kale, spinach, and chard.

Fill up your kitchen with these and avoid overeating or choosing the wrong foods. You can use dried beans, lentils and peas. You can also use corn salsa and black bean with your raw vegetables.
