A Sick Game Promised To Turn This Little Girl Into A ‘Fire Fairy’ If She Turned On Her Stove While Her Parents Were Sleeping

Authorities in Russia are investigating a sick game that promises to turn little girls into “fire fairies” if they turn on the gas burners in their houses while their parents sleep.

Police in Russia are investigating a sick game that is tricking children into burning themselves on their stoves late at night.

According to The Daily Mail, the twisted “game” seems to promise to teach young children “how to become a fire fairy.”

Authorities say the game seems to model a harmless prank show on the animated TV series “Winx Club: School of Witches.”

But in this horrific version, children—particularly little girls—are reportedly being asked to sneak out of bed late at night, turn on the gas burners on their stoves, and repeat “magical words” to become “fire fairies.”

5-year-old Sofia Ezhova, one little girl who tried to play the game, was reportedly severely burned after turning on her family’s gas stove at home while playing the game.

According to The Daily Mail, a social media post online instructed girls like Sofia to do the following:

“At midnight when everybody is asleep, get up from your bed and go around the room three times, then say the magical words: “Alfey kingdom, sweet little fairies, give me the power, I’m asking you.”

“Then go to the kitchen silently, so no one notices you or the magic of the words will disappear. Switch on the gas stove, all four burners. But do not light it. You don’t want to get burns, do you?”

“Then go to sleep. The magic gas will come to you, you will breathe it while sleeping and in the morning, when you wake up, say: “Thank you Alfeya, I’ve become a fairy.” And you will became a real fairy of fire.”

Investigators say they are extremely alarmed by the game after receiving plenty of complaints from concerned parents.

“It could be some kind of ‘suicide game’. We are searching for those who are spreading these messages,” said state investigator Irina Minina.

The Russian Investigative Committee has since revealed that the point of the game may be to scare parents.

According to The Daily Mail, one mom said this game nearly killed her entire family.

“I woke up in the night and felt the strong smell of gas.My daughter, seven, had just left the kitchen and went to her room,” the mother said. “It turned out that she had read in the Internet that to become the fairy of fire you need to go to the kitchen when everyone is asleep and switch on the gas oven.”

“If I had not gone to check, our family of eight would not wake up in the morning,” she added. “I talked to her and she promised not to hide her plans from me and tell me everything.”
